Fair Use Policy
The short version: The plan you choose determines your monthly scan allowance — 100 for Starter, 600 for Standard, up to 2,000 for Pro. Scanning stops at your plan limit — no throttling, just a clean hard stop. Upgrade your plan to continue scanning. Automated scanning is never allowed.
1. Why This Policy Exists
SnapAndFlip's Standard Plan is designed to cover the operational needs of resale businesses. This Fair Use Policy ensures that the platform remains fast, reliable, and cost-effective for all subscribers — and that no single account's usage degrades the experience for others.
2. Monthly Scan Limit
The Standard Plan includes a scan limit based on your plan — 100, 600, or 2,000. This resets on the anniversary of your billing date each month. Unused scans do not roll over. One scan = one item image submitted for AI pricing analysis.

3. Need More Scans?
If you consistently need more scans than your current plan allows, upgrade to the next plan from your dashboard. Starter gives 100 scans/month, Standard gives 600, and Pro gives up to 2,000.
4. Prohibited Automated Use
All scans must be initiated manually by a human user. Automated scanning tools, scripts, bots, or any form of programmatic access to the scanning feature is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination regardless of scan count. Contact us if you need a custom API arrangement.
5. High Volume Accounts
Businesses consistently exceeding 2,000 scans per month will be contacted by our team to discuss a custom plan. We do not automatically terminate accounts — we reach out to find the right solution.
