The short version: We never store your photos unless you are a Pro+ subscriber who has enabled photo storage. Your scans are processed privately and discarded immediately. We don't sell your data. Ever.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account — your name, email address, and payment information. We also collect usage data such as scan counts and subscription status to operate the service.
2. Photos and Images
Starter and Pro plan users: Photos you upload are sent directly to our AI provider for identification and are immediately discarded after processing. We never store, log, or retain your photos in any way.
Pro+ subscribers: If you choose to enable photo storage in your account settings, photos are stored securely in your personal library. You own your photos entirely and can delete them at any time. Disabling photo storage or deleting your account will permanently remove all stored photos.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the service, process payments, send billing and service notifications, and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third party service providers necessary to operate the service — including our AI provider for image processing, Stripe and PayPal for payment processing, and our hosting provider. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
5. Data Security
We use industry standard security measures to protect your data. Payment information is processed entirely by Stripe and PayPal — we never store card numbers or banking details on our servers.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information in account settings. To request full data deletion contact us at support@snapandflip.net.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
